Chris It was commented on in this thread a few months ago, possibly when listed by the previous owner or this one. Considering it's an early 749 with cast swingarm, and is a project, the price is a bit too high in my opinion. If it was £1500 less I'd be considering it, but on the basis of selling parts off as well as building a good bike o sell on.

Exposed yourself this summer with these if you own a 900 / 750ss. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284839390043?hash=item4251c02b5b:g:2LIAAOSw2j9iV9Hn

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265663355721?hash=item3ddac51b49:g:0EAAAOSws9liZ~rY It’s in the US but would one really be anywhere near that price, just having a look about as it’s something I’m thinking of.
I bought a ricambi weiss pattern one (years ago), sanded, painted, fitted decals, varnished, glassed in missing rear supports for subframe, added seat pads...and I reckon it would have been easier/cheaper to just buy an existing one... even close to that price.
Ducati 888 full fairng, but one panel made in fiberglass. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/144618976744?hash=item21abf675e8:g:vckAAOSwCWJih~4G
one panel not O.E.M. would have been a better choice of words, as 99.99% sure that originals were fibreglass anyway. Also - shot of inside of fairings with part numbers always help the sale (for me anyway).
