1260 Supersprox - Stock Alerts Heads-up

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by Relentless, Aug 19, 2022.

  1. Hey all,

I’ve been searching for a 42T SuperSprox rear sprocket for a little while (feeling that my 1260 is over geared compared to my previous K1300S which is about as close to perfect for most situations as I’ve found so far). Sure enough, the 1260 gearing is about +5% taller. Handily, that’s exactly the reduction a 42T rear sprocket makes on the 1260

I’d been checking their website regularly, along with a few other sites.

After nothing but “No Stock” messages on the SuperSprox website I decided to register for alerts for new stock, fully expecting to hear nothing (as seems to be the case with most websites in my experience)

I’m delighted to say that Greg from SuperSprox dropped me an email this morning saying new stock was due to be manufactured and if I was interested to get in touch (which I did).

I did also check the website which still showed - “No Stock”.

After firing across a few bits for the order I sent across the payment via PayPal and the sprocket should be with me before too long.

I thought it was worth posting on here as the general view seems to be SuperSprox sprockets are hard to come by. It appears they’re actually doing the decent thing and contacting people who have expressed an interested before listing them on their website. I approve :upyeah:

  2. I wanted one a few years back and they had one made at their overseas factory and overnighted to UK. Fantastic service aswell as great kit.

  3. (Some) Supersprox were being made in Ukraine .. so you can see why there were issues. They have now set up some production in Poland, they are starting to come through to UK distributors :)
