My Swing Arm is Back!!!! Exactweld Racing in East Grinstead did a superb job and they took a bunch of photos to show what they did. Happy to share them with you all. Interesting to see that the piece was hanging on by a small amount of material. These chaps know their stuff! NOTE TO ALL - They recommend only needing around 5 lb ft of Torque (which is around 6.7NM). Now the weekend will be spent in the Shed!
That work is absolutely fantastic, and should much stronger than the original design. Thanks for sharing this. If I’m not being to nosy what was the cost of the repair, but whatever it was it’s great value!!
No doubt many hours spent on that with different stages building up the aluminium weld / drilling etc, worth every penny.
Wow, that is impressively neat, and £260 sounds like a Steal, That had to be at least half a day's work. Super result.
