Got ‘the’ phone call this morning, my SEAT Leon has been deemed beyond economical repair The first offer from the Insurance company is ludicrously low despite all their excuses and justifications for the low ball offer On the positive side, after a quick ride down to Yeovil, I have a new to me car sorted. No surprises, it’s another SEAT Leon Pulled together some paperwork and ‘evidence’ for the Insurance to justify my idea of an appropriate settlement which I’ll email tomorrow and see what they say. Woken up to a car stinking of onions thanks to that fat mike brewer off wheeler dealers. Thought id try his "old car dealer trick" of sticking a cut onion in there overnight to get rid of the musty smell/smell of three wet dogs. (Tbf it did get rid of that smell, it just replaced it with something even worse )

I was taking a shortcut through Merston on the white roads late afternoon on my return journey today from Chichester, when i spotted this tin box parked up alongside their house, i nearly put it in the shed thread... @Advikaz
Wired up some LED lights in the back of the van today after rummaging around in the dark . Personally I feel it’s quite an achievement, mainly because the van is now 2 years old and the lights have been rattling round in the back since new and still work nice to be able to see what I’m looking for now !
I'm not sure what security they've inplace, but leave it with me and i'll see what i can do for you next week when i locate my balaclava, mind you it's a cash deal only.
