Hello, not sure if anyone has any information, I have the single seat subframe for my strada, and sadly only an aftermarket single seat unit QB. I’ve been looking at the fitting and there is a difference in the mouldings, there’s obviously no hole for the bum pad and the mounting flange is missing. Not sure how to proceed aside from fabricating some CF bracket arrangement on the inside and rout the hole with a template. Any advice gratefully received. Cheers!
I was lucky to find an original (very beaten up from an old race bike) and repaired. The only place where I have found a decent replacement is in Japan and this takes around 2 months to get (seems they make them to order). Japanese Made to Original - https://www.lafs.co.jp/s/?p=20286

Oh nice yeah. I’m a bit concerned about the hanger brackets, as it’s a strada to single seat subframe situation. Luckily I’m prepared I bought two sets of NOS SP ones I see on your bike years ago, and I have a silmotor specific set coming from Germany Stein Dinse along with what comes with the cans. I bet none of it will fit and I’ll have to buy a CNC mill machine.
Russ - let me know on the hangers, as I may have a solution for you if the others don’t work out. I made the ones on my bike and have spare sets.
Hi vussey, I had to do the same with my QB seat. I seem to remember I used a piece of ally angle popped on from the inside. I'll try and get some piccys up tomorrow.
I had to get a new set of SM brackets as the holes on the first set were a bit skew-wiff (is that a word?!) and the bolt wouldn't go through, and the shape does really allow for altering as the brackets are creased to make the angles. But the exhausts are really nice and the baffles are held with circlips so easy to remove. Very pleased with them.
Thanks! I was thinking about an ally bracket or something fabricated in CF by a friend of mine. Regarding hangers, thanks, some come with the SM pipes, and I have ordered some other ones from stein dinse and I have some SP NOS OEMs. They are taking a helluva time to get here. Will post back when they arrive.
