Owner Of Panigale V4r Reg No Do19gcf

  1. I’m hoping the previous owner of a Panigale V4r may be on here? The bike is booked in to have a tracker fitted next Wednesday and I do not have the PIN number for the bike anywhere on any of the paperwork for the bike. It would seem that the dealer I bought the bike from doesn’t know it either. Have contacted the previous owner and he doesn’t know it either. Can anybody help? The bike now has a different number plate so i’m not too worried about posting up the original number plate.

  4. I thought that Ducati dealers could simply reset the code?

  5. Yes they can. Trouble is, nearest dealer to me is over an hour away and with the roads being gritted now, I have no wish to take the bike out on the roads.

  6. Don’t blame you. I assumed they would be fitting your tracker.
    Tried the last 4 numbers of the VIN?

  7. No. Not yet. Off to work for three days so will look into it when I come back from work on Sunday

  8. A quick update on the issue I had, the PIN number turned out to be the last four digits of the VIN. I have now changed it to something more memorable. Thanks for the suggestions, guys.
