Streetfighter 848 Leaking?

  1. Hi all,

    I bought this 848 Streetfighter 2013 back in November last year. Didn't really use it over the winter. But I leave the bike on for at least 20 minutes, twice per week. Yesterday I just noticed a some sort of leak in the left side where the clutch is.

    Any ideas of what it is? Picture attached.

  3. Hi Mihai,

    That is chain lube dripping down from the front sprocket cover. If you take the plastic sprocket cover off and clean inside that should resolve the issue.

  4. Thanks for that. It's normal for the chain to leak like that. Again, I haven't used the bike since November. Just turning on and off in the garage.

  5. Pretty normal yes, the previous owner must have been a bit too enthusiastic with the lube!
