  1. I could do with some good advice!

End of last summer I was paint spraying a piece of something for the house, and unbeknownst to me the wind was blowing the overspray onto my 900ss... I have just come to prep the bike for spring and discovered that the whole bike is covered in white specks of overspray paint!!

Any suggestions? I guess I could polish the whole thing, but a clever product that would help soften the specks I think would be a good idea first.

(feel free to agree with the "I'm an idiot" if it makes your weekend. ;))

    Cheers
    Grant

  2. Methylated spirit, won't harm the paint but should help with the overspray.

  5. Just stick some in a snow foam bottle and jet wash the whole bike with it. What could go wrong?

  6. For paint work Goggle, Clay bar it might help.

  7. Sounds like you are getting results with Methylated Spirits? as long as it's not affecting base coat then :upyeah::upyeah::upyeah:
a lot depends on how many coats of lacquer were applied to your bike, plus what sort of paint was the overspray in white? I would have been tempted to start with trying T Cut just to see what happens, i.e. - helping to understand if the white paint is "on it" or "in it". If it's the former then should be ok.

  8. The Methylated Spirit will evaporate before he gets chance to wipe the overspray off the paintwork.

  9. I was going to suggest clay bar
