There was another Colnago in the process of being built up which was £16K, I paid £1.5 for a frame about 10 years ago which I never ended up building into a complete bike. Still in the loft awaiting either being sold or built up for my lad.
First full day on track as a (trainee) Racesafe marshal. Silverstone was bloody cold, flaming wet and I got to pick up Josh Brookes FSO BMW after a heavy crash at Copse. First sight of the BMW 800RR in anger. Looks like a Supermoto, is very loud, under powered and IMO, going to be very close racing Andy
Realised I’ve consumed more than my fair share of plastic when I discovered the filter in the kettle over the years has disintegrated into each and every brew!
I'm off this week so. Took the 600ss for a MOT this morning in the wet and drizzle, she passed so all good. Spent a couple of hours cleaning a already clean bike as the weather was horrible all day, watched the MOTO GP sprint race again. Very little apart from that.
Played 9 holes of golf; score was , putting was worse but for the first time in 5 months my Achilles lasted and I got to abuse and be abused by my mates. Might have to try riding the Multistrada next...
Managed a sneaky 9 myself tonight, just a walk and swinging a club really. Loving these lighter nights already.
