Basically had a minor disaster. Needing to replace a fair few bits of the fairing on the left including the tail and the nose parts including screen. New headlight unit and unfortunately i smashed the LCD screen on the dash, Now thats easy to replace on its own but of course its proving impossible to get the actual screen. Any help and parts appreciated and here's a couple pics.... oh and the magnesium front frame/dash and headlight mount!

those fairings look great in that Carbon and white, but id need to look at respraying probably or replacing the tank etc but it still be left with the phony 1198s logo im definitely interested in the headlight assembly though how much would you be looking at? id also be tempted by that open clutch cover....
Hi - yes i agree - the 1198S logo would be wrong on your bike. I ask 125 Euro for the head light and 90 Euro for the clutch cover. BTW the new price was 149 Euro for it. The shipment to the UK will take another 17 Euro so all togehter it would be 232 Euro or 200 GBP. If you're interested please sent me an email to [email protected] and I'll send my bank informations. oooh, that looks bad. Sounds like you are okay which it the main thing. Double check the front fairing bracket, but all accounts that can get damaged fairing easily, bending itself out of shape

yea lots are not on ebay and I heard there's alot of good people here who can often help out cheaper than what's listed on ebay! Hell i already got that headlight much cheaper than any on ebay! Cant find a dash for the life of me, not even one that i can butcher for the LCD screen :/ i found one and missed the auction when i was in hospital >.< this is the worst bit as its the b it that's gonna be hard to fdind and the most essential And Matt the bracket youre talking ab out? is it the front stay magnesium bit your talking about or something else? as the fairing stay is smashed to oblivion lol

Ive a mag fairing mount. Its broken but not as bad as yours. Just the end of the RHS arm broken between the mirror mount holes. I still have both parts and the mirror still bolts on fine. I toured france with it like that no probs. As long as your address is not Goodison :tongue: I say its yours for the postage. :biggrin:
yea im just gonna try get one cheap and steal its LCD as its easy asd pie to replace, its pretty stupid they dont do this at the dealers, just a way to skank us out of money, and bootsam im in sheffield that would be majorly apreciated drop me a PM with postage details and ill chuck you my address!
Boom managed to get hold of a dash for £250 from the U S of A shipping included, cant seem to find anything in the same ballpark as that so I'm fairly happy! Ill sort out that shipping malarky Bootsam thanks for that It is still sickening though paying £250 for essentially a small bit of glass

Meant to put this earlier but i kept forgetting! big thanks to Bootsam and Heizer300! got the frame with the tiny chunk missing, i reckon i can get a mate to weld that back on! and thanks for the headlights from heizer arrived quickly ( disregarding the royal mail cock ups) Now i just need to get the nose replaced and im back in business Got a cheap damaged dash from the US and took it apart for the LCD and thats working a treat
