If s been a long time since I looked at a 1299 but I think you can alter the shock length, which will alter ride height. I guess adding preload will, to a point, depending on you current sag settings it may be an option for fine tuning
Cheers fellas. I didn’t measure the standard vs the ohlins I put in. Trying to work out why mine is 1or 2 inches higher than Cookster’s Pani R…so much so his with comfort seat is lower than mine with the bog standard flat seat
