Off to the theatre to see Crazy for You. Left the neighbours a little happier than when I last saw them as the car has been recovered

There's a golf course out there somewhere... Ah, there it is Went to wipe some water off of a club after a shot to find it was ice. Got home & got the clubs out of the car & The Grinch next door was putting the Christmas lights up under orders from the Mrs. He asked if I'd played this morning & when I responded in the affirmative he told me I was " 'kin nuts".
Been blocking off rat holes, they are trying to burrow under my workshop little bastards. Stake out tonight with the rifle I think.
A few good shots, some fresh air, more than a few laughs and the visitor to the usual 4 broke out the Tullamore DEW on the first tee; that'll more than do for December golf, thank you. The Grinch is alright in fairness, however, he doesn't do Christmas but the wife & 2 daughters do; the lights go up, but not without a grumble.
Just had the boiler rebuilt and need the oil tank replaced with a load of associated work. Just the job before christmas, at least we'll be warm.
Went to the gym this morning, was craving a decent steak, so made this for lunch when I got home… Couple of glasses of red, then put the Christmas lights up outside (didn’t fall off the ladder ). Now chilling out for a couple of hours, before we’re off to friends for dinner.
Had an excellent evening with great friends last night, got through a fair few bottles of red between us, then had a baby Guinness or two. Got home at 3am, so am feeling a little delicate today.
Ridgebacks love the heat from a fire, after a walk mine used to lay so close to the fire you could see the steam coming off his slightly damp head !
All I’ve done today is got up, looked out of the window…. And got back into bed for another half hour
