MV Agusta 921 S https://www.mvagusta.com/us/en/special-project/921-s I've always had a soft spot the America colours and original bike.....hopefully bit more affordable than original 750.
I realise I seem to be in a minority, and I'm being diplomatic, but I'm not so keen, it's very colourful!
And here's the original to compare & contrast http://classicmotorhub.com/showroom/1973-mv-agusta-750-s/
Did nobody in the factory ever say "bugger, we've put the tank from a blue bike on it"? In Italian obviously
Errrrrrr - nope, not for me. Far to much going on that is purely form over function, like the bumstop being up on a daft little raised mount and the wheel centre bits trying to make it look like the bike has drum brakes. Why then paint the Calipers bright Red to highlight them? And what are the bits of Carbon(?) trim and bicycle spokes around the rim of the back wheel for? Like the swingarm though.
Think the little hump on rear can be removed and passenger seat installed. At least it's a bit unique compared to normal adventure/naked/superbike of recent, which all look very much the same (whatever brand you choose).
Is this a production bike, or a taster of what's to come? To me, it looks like a concept vehicle to show off ideas and MV have stuck a load of different styling cues on one bike to show them off. Usually a few of them then see their way onto production bikes in a toned down form. But being Italian and MV I may be wrong
Mid 2024 it's released on the great unwashed... Alledgely. Think there's a 9.5 elephant tribute coming as well.
