Anyone got a good way of removing the unsightly marks left, when you polish your bike. I tried to be careful !
Do you mean dried polish that does not\has not rubbed off and leaves white spots etc? I use coloured polish either black or red depending on what I am polishing so any marks that are left behind are not so noticeable.
Wd 40 or gt85 will remove them. Now that I know youve been polishing your bike I am going to have to inspect it to see if its up to spec!
Try using soap and a microcloth. I find a microcloth pulls more crap out of black plastic parts than anything else.
'Black Plastic'???? The best way to remove the white marks is to bin the plastic parts and embrace the carbon bling monster! ;-)
Washing liquid and a tooth brush will sort it just fine (keep off the paint as much as poss to avoid having to repolish!!!)
as above Autoglym bumper care, or trim cleaner, its green, or WD40 but then that goes on your freshly polished surfaces
In the old days when Golf GTi's had black wheel arch extensions I used to use Armorall, I'm sure you can still get it
