The last couple of times we've toured in rural France, more and more 20kph limits in place. Usually only for a couple of hundred metres but sometimes alternating with 30kph limits. The blanket 50kph in town is becoming a thing of the past. Andy

I'm their place, 20mph zones make sense, the issue in Wales is that local councils couldn't be arsed to do the work to restrict the blanket application of 20moh to all their roads, when they had the opportunity to do so in the consultation period, it needn't have been like this...
