a decent dice today for a change shame for cal, think the kid no 93 gonna be a new world champion this year
twas a good race in the end, shame for Cal, he was pushing hard and prior to his off was lapping faster than the top three, just pushed that wee bit too much.
He's a pesky little bugger isn't he that Marquez kid, unfortunately I can't stand his golden boy grin. great rider though but Motogp is getting seriously boring now, honestly its only the first few laps and the last few, the middle of the race is frankly piss poor. i honestly think it would be better to have a Moto2 type model but 1000cc bikes and then everybody concentrate on WSBK factory support. Yamaha and Honda can pitch for the engines etc and then at least all other manufacturers can start concentrating on bikes we can buy (or look like what we buy) in WSBK. i just don't see Motogp being anymore entertaining unless they allow more variants like a wider choice of tyre manufacturers. either let the teams loose to do it how they want to or wind it all back to a spec engine for all, its just crap viewing in comparison to moto2 so what's the point?
agree it also needs a huge reduction in rider aids. dump all this traction control shite and anti wheelie poo- my granny could ride one without wheelying. i remember a few years ago jorge and stoner exiting most corners verically in their top class infancy and riders laying huge darkies down into turns and exiting....all skill or lack of....oh oh oh..it was before all these aids came in big time.. its just pants now. and I think while marquez is good - he wouldnt be winning if it wasnt for all this aid trickery...
I love the onboard telemetry stuff, but do wonder how they can go full throttle at still 50 deg lean angle...ar that will be the electronics then! Guess I'll find out when I try it on my meagre in comparison gixer thou at the next trackday
