  1. Anyone have 916 speedo drive off bike and could tell me the depth?
Or the source of a replacement spacer in the UK?

    Cheers

  2. will a 999 one fit?

  3. i know andyFE had one on the last track day i saw him on..........

  4. Not sure.
There's two on the 848 spindle and I think the larger one may do. I know the dimensions of that, but not the 916 speedo drive.

  5. I have them on both my bikes, originally bought one & then made the second, length is 30mm and the spacer from a later bike (999/1198 etc) is too short as they don't have the cutout in the wheel for the speedo drive.

In case you're making one the dimensions from my (bought) one are 30mm long, 25.1mm ID, 37.6mm OD, alternatively if you get an old speedo drive you could use the metal bush inside it.

  6. Yep, as Dukedesmo says, 30mm. The OD isn't too critical though. I made one a little while ago for my project. I'll have a look in the scrap bin for a piece of ali to turn one up for you.

  7. Found a noggin in the scrap bin, this any good to you? If not I'll keep it for next project......
