Tesla are a mass produced, budget brand, Chris. I have friends in the industry, they’ve all said that they are poorly made, to a low standard, to achieve the highest profit margin. There’s more profit in one Tesla than 25 Toyota Corollas apparently. Anyway…..
I learnt not to dare the waitress serving the cheese to give us as much as she can. This was bonkers. Still, after a Coke Zero, we were ready for pud!
I’m bursting at the seams. Literally. I can’t wait to get back to normal eating, and exercise like a lunatic again next week.
I can't believe you could make such a sweeping statement based on "you have friends in the industry" FFS.. - I disagree, it's that simple. What has profit got to do with whether something is well made or not? If you read my earlier posts then you need to be more specific, we are talking about 20 years of production - all car manufacturers have highs and lows.
Last night I went with friends to witness the absurd reproduction of Robin Red Breast staring Maxine Peak at the theatre It gave us all a lot to think about Thankfully it was only an hour long.
Couple of jobs in the garden, then family round for a barbeque. A quick hour out on a bike with an ice cream at the coast .
Lowered swing arm pivot, changed oil and filter for the tt....changed the pivot to the lower setting due to the longer arm...other reason for the swing arm adjustment nothing more than to see how it feels...
now up to speed - this is old news? ^ The reason I stood up for the brand is because you both tarnished ALL Teslas ever made with the same brush in your seperate posts, and this simply is not true, - just to spell it out - the majority of all Teslas ever made had exceptionally well-fitting panels (for example), it's only the last quarter (approximately) that have "let the side down".
Went to take the Triumph out, bogging due to shit in the carbs again. Got the 996 out to nip to the shops, low rear tyre, found the nail once it had some pressure to make it whistle. Went in the garage and found I had another new Bridgestone to replace the now old new Bridgestone. Ho hum.
Bought a new (to me) car Only had the Merc convertible for 6 months, not really liking it, so, bit the bullet, bought a 68 plate Golf GTI Performance edition, coincidentally it is the same colour as my van
So far this morning I’ve driven home from Northumberland, cut the grass and strimmed the edges, dead headed some plants and cut back a couple of bushes, picked some tomatoes to have with my lunch and just put the washing on so I can hang it out for a couple of hours before the inevitable rain comes! Later I’ll start to think about packing for my impending jockanese trip this coming weekend. If I can be arsed I may lube the chain this afternoon otherwise it’ll wait until tomorrow
Thought you reside in York, how the hell have you managed to do all that in this weather?! I’m waiting for 3 of the lads, we’re meeting the other 8 in Leeds and heading off to the TT until Sunday night. Could I request you all pray to the weather gods for the journey across the M62? I have a brand new back tyre, fitted this morning!
Left the Grand Canyon North Rim and drove back to Bolder City, liked the handles on the doors of the restaurant we ate at.
Stopped In bolder city for a night a couple of years ago. The Bar in the hotel was like something from the 70s. Even someone who was dressed like huggy bear from starskey and hutch
