had a little gopro test this morning...reckon i could get into this gopro lark...as long as i dont end up gathering evidence against myself.. is it possible to upload to this site or are the files too big? You tube a better bet?? View attachment 19239
Stick it on youtube and don't worry what other people say, the police aren't gonna break down your door any time soon.
Well that is two of us who bought Alpinestars Ben Bostrum rep leathers all those years ago. The only difference I can see is that mine don't fit any more. What was that thread about diet ? Andy
Yep set up a youtube account and then you can embed the video in. Havent tried uploading video straight to the site, but Im sure you can. It may eat into your allowance thou. Nice lean angle too
thanks for the advice boys. im not 100% sure how to edit video yet. im learning iMovie at the moment coz ive got a bunch of guitar videos to stick onto youtube...ive been plagued with operator problems. Apple sent me a replacement iMac because my other one (less than a year old) didnrt want to play anymore..trouble was it didnt have any firewire ports, just thunderbolt..my minidv camera (old tech i know.....hell, its nearly 3 years old) uses Firewire 400...so ive got adaptors plugged into convertors plugged into christ knows what trying to get it to work... the gopro was a piece of piss...plugged it in, drag n drop..all i need to do is figure out how to edit the vids, and discretley speed it up by about 15% to make me look more heroic. x
When you suss out how to speed it up so nobody notices let me know because I've got about 3hrs of me blatting up from Como through Italy, Switzerland and Austria and it looks boring as fuck even though nobody overtakes me.
will do Andy...im sure theres a way to look cool... thing is, even though i opened her at cpl of times, its amazing how pedestrian a lot of it looks...plus of course the Duke is low revving so its sounds like youre bimbling along.....imagine it what must feel like to actually BE ghostrider!?
check out adeysworld on youtube..on rnickeymouse (i think theyre mates)they spend most of their time blasting up and down Mullholland...some truly epic riding there..
its just the boggo version Phill, so no wi-fi..still fkn brill though. It came with several mounting clamps and the large suction cup and arm. The camera is also provided with the waterproof housing..it remains in this 99% of the time. There is also a vented rear door for the for the housing for low speed activities, this helps improve sound quality..mine is the 'motorsport' edition..basically, the same camera, but with the above mentioned accessories...great little thing it is.. Its making me want to get back into SCUBA diving now!! Must dig all my dive gear out of the attic!
