Any pointers where to buy? Need the "race" version, no lights. Seen a few when googled, but part of a full set. Cheers PS. how do you put them on without fVcking them up and getting rage against the sticker?
paint is better end of, but hey if its a race bike.... i dont if theyre still in business but i bought one years ago from a company called "ducati one".. getting the fkr on was a barsteward, the trick being to use a hairdryer to heat the nose cone up quite a bit, and also to soften the decal..i think i also used a bit of soapy water and wiped over the plastic..applying heat also tightens the decal, although i seem to remember having a few small wrinkles here and there, but it looked reasonable, albeit, not as good as paint.
What about wrapping it?, might even be cheaper. Although I think painting it is still the best way to approach it, I have done them before using household appliance white from Halfords, it did a surprisingly good job.
Ive just done mine with wrapping. If you dont need the lights it'll be easier to line up too. Just make sure you've got a squeegie to smooth it down with as you go....miles better than trying to do it with your fingers. View attachment 19395
Bought one for a rally car, soapy, soapy squeezy, squeezy...Swear a lot! Anyone who has managed a whole car/bike with this stuff has my respect!
I stuck some race graphics on my R1 the other week and my god the bigger ones had me fuming & swearing... Horrible.
