Police Department have supposedly said no foul play; suspicion of CO poisoning.

Whatever the cause, RIP Gene, superb actor, The French Connection, Mississippi Burning, Enemy of the State and Crimson Tide being amongst my favourites. And I didn’t realise he was USMC in his younger years.

 

CO was the first thing that came to mind for me.

There was a photo of him i saw a few weeks ago. He didn't look a well man at all.

 

RIP Gene, he was a great actor, enjoyed his many films,..he’ll be picking his feet in heaven now.

Yeah, a fine actor and you could add The Quick & The Dead & Prime Cut (with Lee Marvin) to the list.

only speculation, but I wonder if Betsy went first, followed by Gene, all within approximately two weeks, Very sad in any case.
The tributes pouring in have said it all, Gene Hackman was a special kind of actor, and not many could hold a candle to him.
Rest in Peace Gene and Betsy.

 

With 4.5 years served in the US marine corps certainly helped get his message across on the Big screen.
