Sell it? Or tell him? It has been up for sale for about a month, so, yes, he did know it would be sold Tell him? No, I want to see how long it takes him to notice it's gone
Mate came over on his RSVR - had the LH side bellypan off to replace the Heat Sheilding. Got some bits on the SXV cerakoted while its engineless....
Took the Scrambled Egg for it's MOT....passed as expected, next will be Sons Aprilia once he gets it started.........then might put the MV back on the road.......
Can see me getting one as my next bike if my wrists get any worse but I’ve hankered after one since 2015, Full throttle I like best and secondhand prices are not to bad now,
On my recent Corsica tour I tested a mates 1100 after seeing him wellying it around the bends (he's normally a tentative rider). I was amazed at how comfortable, and hence how quick it was in the twisties. Like an armchair if you sit back, or balls on the tank you kinda feel it rides like a flat-tracker. Could be one for the future for me too. (I feel my hips have only just recovered from the 999 after more than a week later )
800cc I fancy not the 1100, but saw this yesterday which looked good, this past year I feel like the tin man from Wizard of Oz, need a bit of oiling up.
Love my Icon. I missed my Hypermotard at first, but the Scrambler is a bundle of fun and much less likely to get me in trouble.
I could get one and slip it in the garage after dark so the boss doesn’t see it but it would need to be red to match the other bikes.
I rarely disagree with anyone but @Gandalf, “less likely to get into trouble” you said Although strapped for time with Donny coming up, I managed to scrub the tyres in this morning with a quick 60 miles. Yes, the suspension is basic (and a bit firm), yes, the bike “only’ has 70hp but what a blast, huge grin factor and it’s quick as a quick thing Clearly made the wrong decision not to fit the quickshifter, one more thing to think about when swapping between the Scrambler and the V4 Pikes Peak and the foot pegs are too low Andy
