Had a test ride on the new Sf V2 today. had a test ride on the previous v2 about a year ago - sweet engine, but didn’t get on with much else of it at the time, so left it like that. But the new… What a joy - butter smooth engine, crisp sound, new-car smell - oh wait…! Well, you know what it ended with when the hormones gets all excited ……. ✍️ deal done, Multi is going. Now to the wait of a factory order… ️
They are saying 5-6 weeks - here’s one hoping for shorter time! I’m going to the dealer tomorrow so I hope to get a bit more info, want to arrange the insurance in advance
I have had mine ordered since November and it still not here. I am busy going off it with Ducati ! Initially they said March then definitely mid April but as far as I can find out it still isn’t even built. They are very evasive with their answers. It’s ‘allocated’ is their reply, allocated what, to be built, to be shipped, to the dealer ??
A friend got his Streetfighter delivered today from the dealer. Zero miles and display set to Eu so Speedo was in km. To me they haven’t pdi’d it properly or at all !
I just placed an order for a V2S without riding - hope I wond be disappointed. A friend of mine happened to turnup at the dealer and a cancelled oder was delivered and he bought on the spot - made me jealous and didnt want to miss out. Im hearing Mid June delivery.
Quite, if they can't be bothered or remember to do things the customer will clearly see then agreed very poor......
Just had a call from Italy. My bike is built and on its way to the dealer. ‘Around’ 10 days so they say. Rumour is they had a parts shortage that held up production.
My bike was due in March originally then they said early April which changed to mid April. They promised it last week of April and it still wasn’t even built. I sent a message through the My Ducati app as my order was on there. Italy usually calls a day or so later to give an update. Then Ducati Uk look into it. If your order is on the app it sometimes has the expected delivery date but your dealer will see it on their system anyway.
Congrats on the new bike - I'm sure it will be amazing! If anyone is interested in the previous model, with 30+ BHP more, a single-sided swing arm, and an exhaust routing that doesn't make your eyes hurt, mine is for sale here
Just done the same. Multistrada V4S going new V2SFS incoming. Was finding the Multi to much to manage now. V2SF what a bike!! Now hoping to find some 3rd party luggage
Just found out that my bike is expected at the dealer today, hopefully, so could have it for the weekend depending on how late it turns up.
I could do with a solution for luggage, I my dealer have said they can deliver a S version imminently but no dates for the non-s that’s in order for me. I have got Kriega that will fit the non-S, and I’d hate not have the option to have a pillion too
