hi, not sure if anyone has attempted this? I know ill have to make an adapter to connect to the 16pin ODB2 on the scanner. but wanted to know, if I did that, will it read anything? even for resetting the service light
I used a Fiat/Lancia 3pin OBD adapter cable with a BT OBD adapter and ScanM5X, and a Lonelec cable with TuneECU with my ex 999 multiple times. You can reset the TPS and service indicator, flash and edit maps, disable immobilizer, adjust fan on temps etc.
cool, my scanner is a generic ODB2 scanner.. I would just need the adapter 16pin to 3 pin Id say. I dont want to be programming, but just read codes and reset service.. thats enough for this

Currently wanting to disable IMMO but have not had clear guidance I seen that you have knowledge on this topic, was wondering what are the steps to doing this such as what line of code would i have to edit or there a drop file somewhere out there I can upload and etc. any help would be nice thank you
Thanks for your enquiry, however, I will not help those who have newly joined the forum. Blame those who came before you. The Guzzidiag site is a good source of tools. TunerPro will also be useful. Look for 749 or 999 .XDF file.
