  1. I use the Kriega dry bag that attaches to the loops you can install under a pillion seat, but if you're looking for keeping the seat available that won't work.

I did try a set of SW-Motech panniers but be aware if you've fitted a tail tidy they likely won't work because they rely on the indicators and plate being further away.

As an aside, their customer service is terrible and I wouldn't deal with them again. One of the brackets was broken on delivery so I asked to return and refund but they charged a 20 or 25% restocking fee because I'd taken other parts out of the bags. Despite the broken part being further along in the assembly procedure and the damage not being noticeable until I tried to install it. Their response was that the user should check things before they try to assemble, but I don't know how you're supposed to know what every bit looks like if you've never seen them before. Ridiculous.

  2. That does sound ridiculous from SW!

  3. sorry it wasn’t very well formulated in my post - what I meant was: the reason I have chosen the non-S is because I occasionally want to carry pillion, but also want to utilize my Kriega US30 for when I go on my bike tours. There won’t be a pillion if I’m touring.
If somebody wants to join me on my bike holidays, he needs his own bike :joy::joy:

So my dilemma is now, do I keep waiting for the non-S to show up (dealer can’t give a status) or do I jump on to the S they’ve got available (cancelled order) - there will obviously be a negotiation on the price…, that aside my niggles would be the lack of luggage “opportunities”.

I’ve noticed they haven’t even made a tank available

  4. When my bike was delayed I contacted 4 different dealers as a prospective buyer wanting a non S model asking when they could get me one and all said end of May to start of June. That was last week.

I have ordered the single seat cowl for mine so I have both options.
Tell them you would have the S if they threw in the pillion kit, it’s around £295 I think.
That is if you want to spend that amount on an S

  5. Hmmmm…
Not sure where you’ve got this from - there’s nothing on the configurator for the S version..

on the non-S, you can add the single-seat option for £266 - (a side detail of this is it ain’t road legal - only for track use!)

I do find a pillion kit on the Panigale V2S configurator, so on the part page,
    https://www.ducati.com/gb/en/accessories/ACC013178
it says this is only for the Panigale V2S, not for a SF…

  6. mom waiting for my S version; I’ve also ordered the pillion pad so I can take a roll bag.

  7. I got both the single seat and pillion seat setups when I bought mine (for free), it's worth checking that you're not supposed to be provided with it in the first place. My pillion fairing and seat just came in a box with the pillion footpegs and a couple other bits that they'd replaced for me before I collected.

  9. I cannot see how fitting the solo cowl to a non S can be for track use only. It’s the same part that is fitted to the S standard.

I asked Ducati about the pillion kit on the S and they said it is exactly the same fittings as the Panigale.
