Just make sure you use the right one. If you use the glass RainX it will damage your visor.

I bought a product years ago that was like a wax crayon that you scribbled on your visor and then polished it in, it was shite so i went back to just turning my head to the side to clear the water

 

I had a pair of gloves once, can't remember the make, but they had a small rubber blade on the left thumb to clear your visor with.
Sure I've seen a similar thing you can add to do the same.

 

starting to agree with this, that was then, this is now.

 

I still buy the odd pair of gloves with a strange different material on the pinky, and worked out it's for a similar reason
