  1. I might take you up on that!

  2. Do it! Everyone, and anyone is welcome, stop off at my gaff the evening before. (25 minutes from ferry terminal) :upyeah:

    • Thanks Thanks x 1

  4. I notice the GG owner has kept the original badly designed filler cap that snaps the keys for some owners. Unless he's modified the spring. o_O

  5. Just realised that one of the pics I posted a couple of posts on from your original post shares the same skyline and approximate view, but maybe further along the road, as your picture... Could even be the same pull-in, just a different lens angle.

  6. Went for a pleasant scoot around the block on the Monster.

Saw a 888 with a single round projector light going the other way on A272 between Wisborough Green and Petworth - anybody on here?

Got held up by doddering bikes riding obliviously at two of my fave bits of the route.

Saw these lovelies at Whiteways: IMG_20250601_131243.jpg IMG_20250601_125328.jpg

  7. Compton Abbas Airfield is a regular haunt of mine Guy Ritchie has made a great job of improving it and holds regular events:

  8. Changed the lh rear indicator bulb on the Hyperstrada that had stopped working. Turned out someone, possibly Fowlers to get it through the MOT before sale, had bodged it by putting the wrong bulb in (it had always flashed fast) so now all working right.

  9. Glad it’s not just me! I had some small rubber rings in my toolbox, but I reckon a thick elastic band would do the job.

  10. I’ll definitely head there again, next time, on purpose!

  11. Rode to classics at the villa on my 900SL, 148 mile round trip, 140 of which was motorway. A good day out though ,meeting up with some friends I don't get to see very often. Ferrari's were two a penny, but only three lambo's spotted .

  13. 580 miles to dartmoor and back, used tomtom amiGO app for a windy route, avoiding motorways, which worked out a treat.

Bonus, the royal enfield only broke down once!

Camped at beardown farm next to a river, just passed two bridges near princetown.

  14. Went to the Powis arms for the 9th marches meet, lots of lovely bikes, these two stood out though! IMG_1149.jpeg IMG_1148.jpeg IMG_1147.jpeg IMG_1146.jpeg
Before heading over I saw a man about some brakes. IMG_1155.jpeg

  15. Fitted an Evotech tail tidy to the streetfighter. Why is the stuff from Evotech so good, yet the instructions so poor?
And then set the bike up with a race shift so hopefully no more crappy 4-5 and 5-6 unchanges.

  16. Gilles, cranked foot rests received from Calsport and fitted. Andy

  17. Absolutely ragging it up the m11 from the m25 just now, luckily saw blue lights behind me pulled up to 70 and watched them follow me to the Harlow turn off, it obviously appeased them enough as they didn’t follow me off. Change of undies pls.

  18. Sounds like you noticed them early enough to score for observation skills:upyeah: Lucky escape and reasonable policing.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  19. At long last I got a call from my local indi about the replacement fairing panel for the PP that he's ordered for me. Took two months for it to arrive from Italy, wondering if these are std ones sprayed to order in PP colours? Fitted that, normal service has been resumed. Bled the front brake as well.

  20. There could still be a NIP in the post if they were able to record your speed over the required distance. 14 days and counting. Fingers crossed for you. Andy
