Yentobs Bowie interviews were essential viewing, especially the first in the 70's when I was a very young teen.
I was in The Wolesley last year and Yentob was having lunch with Melvyn Bragg. I’m going out on a limb here, but I reckon their conversation was more high brow than ours.

RIP Julian Grimwade, who died whilst driving his recently acquired Oakland Romano Special in a VSCC race. The incident occurred on the first lap of the race at Donington on Saturday 24th May. Julian acquired the car, which is a replica of the first-ever Pikes Peak winner based on an Oakland chassis with an 8 litre Curtiss aero engine, in 2024. You never know when your number will be up, so take the time to do the things you enjoy most

He always impressed me as a referee; one of the few who seemed to have no side to him. He went on to be a magistrate and the Chancellor of Sheffield Hallam University. Gone too soon, RIP.
