  1. Hi I'm about to take delivery of a used V4RS which has the full race system on and the headers look a bit dirty and the collector box underneath bike looks dirty - what do I attempt to clean this with as I think the headers are steel but the system is Titanium but I'm not sure on that can anyone confirm this as obviously this changes what I can clean it with

  2. Get some 3M pads. They will bring it back to brand new.

But be aware, you have a non-legal system, so your insurance is void, you will be arrested by the Feds and your dog, if you have one, will get bummed.

    Nice pipe though.

  3. And you will have to hang your head in shame when anywhere in society.
You’ll be known as “That Vile Nasty ASBO biker that flouts all laws” too!

(When my new PP arrives it’ll have one on too:p)

  4. If he hasn’t had to sign the disclaimer, the bike is used, and the system doesn’t say not for road use, who’s to say it’s illegal ;)

  5. 100% correct it is a used bike with low mileage on - I have declared that it's a cosmetic and performance exhaust and quoted the extra bhp it gives and insurance was fine with it

  6. Perfect. I asked my dealer to pre reg my bike but put the full system on first. They wouldn’t go for that!

  7. Absolutely correct. The tree did fall down but no one was around to hear it. Therefore it did not make a noise.

  8. I'm with Bikesure who I think do Ducati insurance so I'm sure they know all about the exhausts lol

Do you have the exhaust on your bike now then? Feedback?

  9. Nope, not yet. I’m trying the BHP remap first.

  10. Sounds like a Ducati should :upyeah:

  11. Do you also get shortened service intervals?

  12. Yes, as it's the Desmo engine.
