This is the crash helmet I bought a few days ago. I ride naked bikes and was a little concerned that it would try and pull my head off at high but legal speeds. it doesn’t great fit too. https://www.motocard.com/en/helmets...B¤cy=GBP&utm_id=Bing_UK_Shopping_Cascos
Doris’s daughter recently decided to become a dog breeder (registering with the kennel club etc) and her dog had pups the other day. Unfortunately two have died over the past two days. So she’s been a bit upset (aka distraught) and Doris went over yesterday evening to console/comfort her. Call me unfeeling but I’ve kept out of the way as I’d tell her to toughen up if this is a path she wants to take breeding working dogs.
No….she has one dog here when she stays and that’s enough. I’m forever vacuuming the dining/family area because of its hair. Thankfully it’s LVT tiles in there and not carpet so it’s easy to do. It’s a wonder the bloody things isn’t as bald as a coot with the amount of hair it blows each day.
Did a Salfordian pub crawl last night with friends One of many was this fabulous place, great ales on tap, music venue upstairs and was formerly owned by him out of The Beautiful South, Paul Heaton.
While his band, The Housemartins, was known for incorporating gospel music and having a "religious, but not Christian" stance according to Wikipedia, Heaton himself has described his views as secular and critical of organized religion. He has also written songs that address religion with both reverence and satire.
Reverence doesn't leave room for interpretation. Fat Boy Slim, too, as I recall. Sarcasm alongside reverence becomes weasel words.

Been to the Skechers shop at Fosse Park, Leicester, bought 2 new pairs of trainers, a set of really comfortable Go Walk 7, and a set of Snoop Doggs
19.5 mile mainly following the NYM railway route. Starting at Grosmont And ended at Pickering Let the train take the strain on the way back
Wider point than 'Small bike things'. Waited in for the oil filters. This is Royal Mail. Yesterday they came while I was up Sainsbury's. Said they'd come back today. Today I was in and they left them on the doorstep without buzzing. Which then they could have obviously done yesterday. Ignoring the point that they didn't buzz, today. So Royal Mail is, now, just like the other crappy courier companies. Also, the SS gel battery also failed, ie after three days on the Noco Genius 2 I find it on the 'not holding a charge, internal short or something' light. That's the battery on both bikes failed, but at least I have brand new ones - verified on the Noco. Had I not been waiting in apparently unnecessarily for the Royal Mail, I'd have been able to give the 2nd knackered battery to the guy who was going to the tip (twice). Luckily he's got to make another trip. Absolute pain going to the tip, now, that has apparently and absolutely predictably led to an increase in fly tipping.
