  1. So no new bike sales?

    thanks

  2. That is what I think. Andy

  3. I spoke to Motorapido a couple of weeks ago and was told then that they are no longer going to be selling new bikes.

  4. Also, Ducati Worcester re opens under the Manchester group on Saturday. Yay!

  5. So, they've reacquired the dealership they originally set up and subsequently sold.

  6. Yes. We had a wattsapp message from the Manchester group MD. It was sold against his wishes?
At least it’s re opening. The original cast are going to be running it.

  7. So they’re putting back all the stuff they took out when it closed!

Great that it is coming back, though.

  12. We popped by Hyside in Maldon today and it was shut.
I get that people need days off but imagine how many motorbikes you could sell today.
    Ducati or otherwise.

  13. Win on a Sunday.......buy on a Monday ;)

  14. Be great if that was still true. I can’t remember the last time I saw a young lad on a sports bike with all his mates. Maybe it’s just me.

  15. O don’t get why they don’t close Mon and Tue and open at weekends.

On a similar note, I had to take my Triumph to Lings Dunmow to have a new key coded. Virtually 80 mile round trip and a morning off work. Once all done they told me that I’d have to come back to have the spare keys done too. CVNTS!!

  16. Maybe they’d like to spend time with family/friends on Sundays? I have no problem with dealerships opening Tuesday to Saturday.

  17. As an ex-dealership employee (cars, not bikes) working all weekend sucks. Closed Sunday and Monday seems the best balance to me.

  18. Yeah sounds sensible - or have a rota?

I’ve worked in retail and got 1 full weekend off in 6, either a Sat/Sun off for 3 weeks and a full weekend at work for 2. So it can be done.

  19. Sunday opening should be banned for retail IMO. I haven’t anymore money to spend just because a shops open more.

I’ve worked some Sat/Sun most of my working life it sucks,

  20. Well, it’s not fun but that’s the way of the world now.

Recently I’ve done 3 weekends at work and all the weekdays in between. I don't get paid for weekends…...
