Woken up to no mains water supply. Got a bland update from the Southern Water web site that states the outage has been reported and engineers are trying to locate the problem. Given the area covered by the issue is about 30 square miles of rural villages, it looks like I’m going to be smelly for a few days and I’m going to have to go down the pub (which is fortunately outside the problem area) to use their toilet. Just ordered some outdoor lights for the garden. Later on I’ll be moving patio furniture around on both areas (that are now finished) to see what works best for lounging and entertaining. I’ll also be moving pots around and maybe repotting/planting stuff in the borders. That’s if I can be arsed

Sure, in the short immediate term..I meant after and regaining full mobility etc..nothing worse than living in pain.
Went from Leicestershire to Chesterfield to get the van remapped by a recommended expert, spoke to the guy on the phone to ask about his services on 6th June, he told me all about what he does with his remaps, asked me to send him a message on WhatsApp for the booking, so, messages were sent back and forth, booking was done for 09:00 this morning, 28th June, I arrived 20 minutes early, sat and waited, he arrived at 09:05, not a real issue with the total time the job would have taken, only for him to ask what I was there for, as he had no jobs booked for today, and he was only there to do a handover of a customer's vehicle, and he had no recollection of any booking for a remap for today, even after showing him the WhatsApp chat, he was still adamant that he had no booking in his diary for today Needless to say, I was not to impressed, and asked him to let me out of the yard (electric gates), at which point, not before, he apologised, admitted he cocked up, and asked if i wanted to rebook it, i declined and stated that i would go elsewhere, at that point, he offered me a 20% discount if he did it next week, i accepted, and asked him to write the booking in his diary whilst I was there He got the arse at that, went off on one about my attitude, and told me he didn't want to do it now and demanded that I leave The real irony is, during the telephone conversation on the 6th, he slagged off another company for doing the exact same thing he has done to me The company in question who should have done my remap is Dav-tec in Chesterfield
@comfysofa I hope that the surgery has gone to plan and that you are not in too much pain. Get well soon! As @Sam1199 said, park the skateboard
