Classic Bike Track Days are having a track day event on 19 & 20 July 2025 at Cadwell Park. Also a celebration of the GSXR... 40th year. Are any of you guys taking part in the fun? https://www.classicbiketrackdays.com/summer-bash/
If you are at Cadwell on Saturday please drop by and say hi. I look a bit like Father Ted and I'll be on this little Aprilia. Cheers Todders
I'd love to go but go on holiday next day. Would be ace having both tas bikes there. Maybe next year.
Will do. My mate had one of those, but in the Biaggi Rep Chesterfield livery. I reckon it was a P - reg. We went to Mallory Park shortly after he bought it and I let him go in front as it was new and he was running it in. It was set pretty rich and the front of my 916 bip was splattered in oil by the time we got home. Bloody 2 strokes, never had one but still like to see and smell them.
Maybe next year I will bring the TAS poster from my collection of TT stuff. It was signed by Adrian Archibald at the TT but sadly not by DJ as his accident was a couple of days before I got there.
Great bikes! I look forward to seeing you there. It looks like it'll be a popular event... are you thinking of setting up on the grass paddock area?
Hi Todd, i'm also away on Holiday on those dates but i've been before and its usually a real hoot!... nice looking Prilla BTW
If anybody wants to go, I now can't (work can be shit!), so there is a space in inters for Saturday, I've spoken with Classic bike trackdays to see if they have people on a reserve list, they are seeing what they can sort out. I'm sure it will be a great event
Very narrow and twisty, back straight is very fast, it's very hilly too. The mountain is good fun though, stay to the left if you don't like big wheelies
Useful, in the absence of a track map, but I was more thinking is there a level parking area, is there a shower block?
There is a 'shower block' shown on the site map provided by the event organiser & having had a look on google images, the grass paddock area certainly looks flat enough for me.
Some of the car park is perfectly level and all tarmac, but need to be early to get a spot, the rest is grass and older tarmac, but is reasonably level. There are showers at the bottom of the parking area (I think) near where noise testing is done.
