How’s the Hertz bike? I rented a 1300gs from them in Faro back in April. While it worked and didn’t let me down the tyres were shot and it was a bit shagged.
All OK. Garage was stuffy and 35 degrees so i was hot before I started. I was 40 lins late and manager sent a flusted email. bike had pannier rash but runs better than mine..with better front brakes

Hertz bike was 750 euro all in. some checking by me needed when I get home as the mentioned unlimited mileage, then charged. Bike ok tyres were good but getting close to dead now
A lot more twisty today and tighter turns. Slower speeds means less ventilation so rhe valleys were hot for me and bike. Fan would kick in with ignition off
Sadly, passed what I think was a goldwing 3 wheeler that had been rear ended by a car. Either that or the car had got so much of it, it was now a 6 wheeler
