  1. Unfortunately incompetence isn't a crime which is possibly a good thing otherwise I might have been in trouble a number of times... :)

I know what you mean though, and in this instance, plus the Horizon scandal, people can 'hide' behind the larger state mechanism(s) that are deemed to be ultimately responsible when called to legal task.

But it really does annoy mind when said individuals continue in their careers with further similar appointments and levels of responsibility as though nothing untoward has happened.

  4. Before peeps start adding 2+2 and coming up with 5, i'm not advocating for this to be the punishment for incompetence.

Hope this clears that up and there are no misunderstandings should this happen in the UK, i'm also bound to have an alibi.

    Just saying like.

  6. Not sure on there being a million angry Northern Irish citizens, whenever I've visited not every person I met was born in Northern Ireland it's more multi cultural than I imagined. However surprisingly a lot were ex UK military and quite a few also had some very unsavoury views which they were all too willing to share.

Yes firstly it is about a vote North of the border, the constitution of Eire seeks an Ireland with no internal border the two only have to meet at sometime and it appears an unstoppable ambition for some.

Not totally familiar with what would/should trigger a referendum but maybe even within my lifetime it seems there should be one.

  7. You misunderstood what I meant. The Unionists might not be angry now, but the vast majority would probably see reunification as annexation.
