An interesting bike at the time, a recall at around the same time period Ducati released the Monster. I loved the Monster and its move back toward naked bikes and away from race reps. Salesman at the local dealer struggled to sell Monsters and big/small trailers at the time in the same numbers as race reps in the UK. He just said there was just no big market for them other than in mainland Europe. Norderst, ahead of the curve like the TDR.
I used to watch the Royal Jordanian on YouTube just to listen to his Nuda. They sound like nothing else.

I did a lot of research before building my Factory Supersport replica and learnt quite a lot about the early incarnations and development of the WSBK 916. That research didn’t include any references to a factory sponsored 916 RS. 916 Racing and the 955cc 916 for the US market. Some period correct stuff on show but if genuine, over restored and too shiny for my taste. Andy
