  1. Not sure I realised moto gp was off here next.

  2. JD96 going to WsB on a Honda next year.

    *deep sigh*

  3. Oh dear. Another plummet into relative obscurity.

  4. Pay day, he will never get into Moto GP now. age is against him and he can have more time at home with the family.

  5. BMW reportedly only using four gears round this circuit. The others are all using five. Looks v tight from a quick glance at FP1. Qualification going to be more important than ever for MotoGP races. Oh. And it’s a lot of lefts!

  6. Apparently hes getting test opportunities on the moto gp side “and potentially more” (presumably as a stand in for any injured riders).

Bet Canet gets a fucking ducati too.

    Shite.

  7. It’s probably more than he expected or arguably deserves.

  8. If he was just going to wsb I’d say he deserves better. If he starts getting a foothold into development for the 2007 bikes then yeh it’s the absolute best he could have hoped for.

  9. I really had very high hopes for Jake but now felt he flattered to deceive. My view is he has secured a spot ahead of what he deserves. But, having said that, I do honestly hope he does really well and proves me wrong. Everything crossed for him.

  10. Same as SL22 and will end up with a very similar record win % wise.
Sam got a ride in moto gp though (as shit as it was).

Sad state of affairs for British motorcycle racing when you’re left with Scott Ogden in moto 3 as your focal point for next year, unless something extraordinary happens.

  11. To be fair to sl22 he’s been much more consistent this year and probably deserves ABs factory seat as much as anyone else who appears to be in the frame.

  12. Have I got to be the first one to mention Toseland waffling on about ghosts in his hotel during FP2 today?

  13. Rabats just absolutely destroyed Taz’s old bike in qf.

  14. I wonder if the minimum weight rule is going to hinder Bautista finding a new team when they know they’re going to have to add 5kg of ballast to their already struggling bike if they sign him for next year.
    (Plus his wages)

  16. That was a bit of a slog what with the extraordinarily shit track, Ianone causing the mother of multi rider first lap collisions and toppers clearing off when they restarted.
Shame Taz tailed off at the end too.
    Sam Lowes, jesus christ!
Lecuona with a broken wrist so a factory Honda seat going for the Suzuka 8 hours next weekend.
    Who they gonna call?

  17. Toprak wins the 1000th wsb race on a beemer after winning the 900th race on a Yamaha and the 800th race on a Kawasaki.

Now that’s how you define legend status!

Enjoyable race too. Vickers 7th and Taz 8th!!!

Bulega nowhere after a bad choice of tyre.

  18. Racing was quite good mid pack.

Commentary was dire and the mistakes were horrendous, riders named wrong, wrong bikes for some riders, missing coverage of the toprak mistake, we all saw Aeguter cut the course and yet Haines didn't.
