The V4 Psnis look good but the prices are just insane. I don't NEED anything and this is just a fun toy. The fun goes out of it when you start at about £25 grand!
Weight is the non negotiable element, ideally with a big bore kit added. Did you know there's a 433cc conversion for a 390?
Have you considered a Street Triple, weight is about 175kgs, goes from quiet and easy at low revs to out and out hooligan at top of the rev range, decent range, looks ok and took the missus down to Jerez last year so will do the mileage too.
Went to norf London to view some houses my daughter and her boyfriend were thinking of buying. God what a load of shite they were and of course the shysters that are trying to sell them were asking laughable amounts of money. No wonder they haven’t sold. As for the guys from the estate agents, I wouldn’t buy a bag of marbles from toe rags like that. They made my skin creep. On the way back I dropped in at Ducati Cambridge and sat on a couple of V4 Multistrada’s. Well, it was a grim drizzzzzzly day and I was going right past, how could I not? I think the sales guy was glad of someone to talk to. He was good, not pushy and we had a good bike chat. So next week I’ll go back test ride a Pikes Peak, if it stops drizzzling.
We are getting an expensive mongrel aka as a Cavapoo. I’m hoping our current shit machine aka American Bulldog (35kg so quite a big bugger) gets on with it and tries to mother it and doesn’t see the pup as a healthy little snack!
My daughter and her boyfriend have a Cavapoo, lovely little dog and very intelligent too. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.
These little rascals are getting very good reviews. https://www.royalenfield.com/conten...rilla-450-technical-specification_english.pdf Lightweight and fun. Some of the colours are good, the back with red flash is very Yamaha RDish.
A weekend of observing (tutoring) setting out for day 2, hopefully lunch at Hyside cafe who are now open on Sunday.
Back there in October for the third year on the trot. Tried to find somewhere that offered such an ideal, relaxing holiday at such a reasonable price and couldn't. Helps that we now have direct contact with a villa owner. Daytime temperatures mid 20s and just right for me, don't like hotter much. Going end of season most places are still open yet not many other holidaymakers so you generally pretty well have the place to yourself. Car hire dirt cheap with the local company we use (Pefanis) and no such thing as collision damage waiver etc. We will have to find a different holiday next year, well we're telling ourselves that, as I've never returned to the same place twice (except to the general area when on the bike).
Up in Kendal to see a gig last night. Today we venture over the border to have a fight with some midges
That would work for me. The Triumph Street Triple works for me on everything as well, except the look around the dash and headlights I'm unsure of. Both bikes should be in Fowlers when I go on Tuesday, so I will have a closer look. Although always on a battery conditioner, the battery on my KTM is fooked. I am having some doubts about the GENIUS battery conditioner. I could feel a tingling on the bike's brake and clutch levers yesterday. I thought that it must just be my imagination but now I am not so sure. Everything was turned off at the mains last night as I no longer feel comfortable leaving these battery conditioners on overnight. I sleep right above the garage and I sleep deeply. After my accident head injuries, I don't so much sleep as go unconscious. I have connected smoke alarms everywhere, but I don't trust myself to wake up!
I don't need to do anything for a while as I'll need the KTM battery issue sorted out anyway. I am having my doubts now about leaving my batteries connected to the conditioners 24/7 now. Apart from losing exactly (not about or approximately, but EXACTLY) £100.000 out of my settlement, whilst everybody else gets paid, I've had nothing so am not optimistic of anything coming my way after the ZOOM meeting next month. And that will bosch my future plans. There will be money in a few years when we sell company properties in London and no other fooker gets a look-in on my share. Well, apart from HMRC's Mr Taxman, but that's what it is, Tax is tax and I don't waste my time worrying about it!
