I just looked it up -its a Yelloh Village site. Lots of facilities. Is it better -for you- than before- with its new improvements?
I want to "laugh" because of the battery terminal, but won't because of the NIP. Sometimes we need two emojis!
I think the A272 is possibly never at national limit but I may be wrong. Haven't done it on 2 wheels for ages...
It is what it is and there's no point in getting upset. Nothing that I can do if doing 58 here is considered such a terrible crime. It shouldn't be 50 anyway and the camera van guys know it, so that is why they hide here! It's 50 because of all the pedestrian crossings and houses that appear to be invisible. And at 11:45 am it is peak time for all the kids not walking to school!
Not sure, can only drive at 50mph on a NSL A road. I think maybe only on the straights it's 60 rest it's 50, 40, 30's.
Our old pitch has gone, to make way for the new improvements, the takeaway is now where the shop used to be, the new shop is a lot larger, with a larger range of stock, there is now an entertainments stage with a grandstand The place is a lot better visually, although the parking for new arrivals is smaller than it used to be, again, to make room for the improvements Overall, it like it
Extracted my honey, 60lbs this year, (106 jars) down on last year but I lost 2 hives over the winter. I was left with one so I bought a new nucleus of bees which have done well. I need to let them build up a bit more then hopefully next year I can the third hive running again.
I got a bit of a codeine habit in 2020 after I partially dislocated my shoulder and it trapped the ulnar nerve when it popped back in (reaching up to tuck my left ear into my helmet, of all things). That's because you were taking opiOIDS, ie: resembling or similar to, but not a perfect match for, opiATES such as heroin. It's a bit like comparing a Lexmoto 300 to a MotoGP bike.
Heroin is semi-synthetic, i.e. an opioid, hence the cooking in the jungle bit, smelling of vinegar. Morphine diacetate. Though the strength of fentanyl is hard to credit, it is clearly many times as powerful as heroin - by weight, presumably - it, as the lead player in the 'opioid crisis', is not remotely like dihydrocodeine. Apart from the difference that opiates are derived directly from the poppy and opioids from the laboratory, and they all cause addiction and essentially the same withdrawal, the intensity of which depends on the quantities you'd worked up to, 'opioid' doesn't mean a lot. Fentanyl and dihydrocodeine aren't like comparing a Lexmoto - which I presume is a bike - and a 999, as comparing a product of homo sapiens and that of some race from another galaxy who developed faster-than-light travel a million years ago but now use matter transmission. Possibly to supply the USA. Zomorph is morphine in sustained release capsules; oramorph is liquid morphine. I first had oramorph in hospital after crashing the Triumph. I was so bored when the nurses offered it I eagerly accepted just to pass the time. Zomorph I'd never come across before mum got cancer, but after she died I kept back a box for my own pain relief, but it was next to useless. Yet clearly, injected, morphine works well for dulling the pain of, say, having a leg blown off. And cancer pain. Not back pain. Dihydrocodeine is a better painkiller than straight codeine, though codeine is better for toothache, but the difference isn't massive. They all work by mimicking endorphins, are highly addictive because they reduce awareness, not only of external troubles but of one's growing dependence; and because withdrawal is so awful. If it weren't for the fact that by such methods you become as bad as the enemy - like ending fascism by rounding up the fascists and putting them in death camps - I'd say all opiate/opioid pushers should be shot on sight. It's a kind of slavery. In my 20th century horticultural life I enjoyed papaver somniferum for its aesthetic quality.
Ah, but they don’t really provide the gentle and all-encompassing feeling of contentment that natural heroin provides, particularly the first time it is taken, which users never replicate, although many spend the remainder of their lives, money and dignity trying to do so.
I agree. My post wasn't intended as a puff piece for the Heroin Marketing Board! I've also known people in both my personal and professional life who have traveled the dirty brown road to addiction, destitution and jail (no deaths though, thank God).
Yes, I'd have been surprised if you hadn't encountered such. If I go on a trifle it's because neuroscience is my lifelong fascination. I still prefer motorbikes though.
Bought a magnifying lens for my welding mask (instead of having to wear my reading glasses). Why did I not know about this before...?
Went to Gowlers. Before then, found that my KTM battery woes were not just the loose negative lead. The Genius Battery Conditioner that it has been on is also fooked. Been on it all night and still on the 25% light. Swapped chargers and on "fully charged" within minutes. So it was two issues - the fooked charger and the loose negative connection. Fowlers now have Guzzis back in. I hoped they screwed over Guzzi! Apparently they wanted Fowlers to share Bristol between Fowlers and Downend Scooters, so Fowlers told 'em to get lost. Now Guzzi have learnt the error of their ways and dumped Downend Scooter for Fowlers. I would love a V100 but Guzzis are just too heavy for me and my left knee is painful and knocks against the left cylinder. Cafe just get busier and busier. Really nice food in nice surroundings. They haven't got the Enfield Guerilla 450 but the Triumph Speed 400 looks the next one for me. They had a black one with engine bars, screen and now they do the handlebar mirrors as standard. My mate thinks the handlebar mirrors crap but I would prefer to see what is behind me rather than a crystal clear view of my arms. But that is just strange me. With engine bars, screen and rear rack we are talking £5683.50. Probably me next year depending upon me finding out where my compensation money is and why I can't have it. But I will do it anyway, probably next year as I have reached my breaking point of other people telling me what to do. With the Triumph, I will definitely have the rear rack, but a topbox perplexes me. On one hand, it is very useful if I can fit my helmet in on stops as well as gloves and other shit. On the other hand, they look crap.
Headed down to the bike night at the H cafe in Berinsfield / Oxford last night (The one right next to the Infinity store). They were open late due to a Shoei event taking place there. Used to go a fair bit before the short break from riding so good to get back up there again! Absolutely packed with bikes, must have been 100+ plus up there yesterday. Forgot to take any pics whilst there so a quick one from when I got back. If anyone goes up there or fancies it let me know, we can say hello!
