  2. It's the Barn Cafe between Fernhurst and Midhurst, next to the Banyan Indian restaurant. It was a brilliant breakfast, despite not having black pudding! As funny as it sounds, people go there for their toast, which is grilled in butter, and is like nothing we've had before.

  3. I’ve been doing that for years. It also makes the most amazing toasted sarnies

  4. Last night, did this in Bath Theatre Royal. There were people from Weston-super-Mare in attendance, where he was born, and Brent Knoll where his family were evacuated to in WWII. Apparently, Weston-super-Mare was bombed during the war. The conclusion is that the Germans had known that they were losing the war and were now just trying to help. Unfortunately, the British didn't see the funny side and rebuilt the place into the dump it is now! He doesn't care much now for the BBC, modern TV, as well as modern politics. He's 85 and still working, but I would think just because he enjoys it. I wouldn't think that he needs the money! The theatre was full.:
In An Audience with John Cleese, the Monty Python legend is joined on stage by broadcaster Matt Stadlen for an unmissable conversation about life, creativity, and a career that's shaped modern comedy.
I parked at Bath Park & Ride at Lansdown, They stopped buses back at either 6pm or 9pm as I assumed that Bath would be dead on a Sunday night. When I came out of the Theatre at about 9:30, Bath was rocking! Loads of people out and the bars were crammed! So why stop the buses so early, unless you really do have a hate your customers! The alternative would be to take the train, but since trains are untrustworthy on a Sunday night (well, any part of Sunday, really) I had to get a taxi back to the Park & Ride - well more Park than Ride,

  5. Had my first Taco today (first monday of every month work sorts out a free lunch which is really nice of them). Fucking horrible....like Clarkson said... "like sick with cheese on it"

  6. Listened to Test Match Special on the wireless, specifically England’s batting collapse, resulting in them being bowled out 6 runs short in an absolutely thrilling end to a brilliant Test match against India which brought an end to a fantastic series. 2-2 was probably a fair result overall. Cricket was the winner!

  7. The tension this morning was unbearable!

    Brilliant advert for Test Cricket.
