  1. Hi all, a new member here from Whitley Bay. Just bought my first Ducati - a 2022 Streetfighter V2 which I’m loving! Quite a change from my last bike - a Speed Triple 1050 RS but enjoying the change. Will no doubt be looking on the forum for help and advice, particularly around servicing, etc and am already looking at getting an OBD device like I had with the Triumph.

  2. Thanks Keith. I don’t sadly as it was only an OBD cable I needed for the Speed connected to a programme on a laptop. I’m currently looking at buying one of the mentioned OBD tablets and will take a look at the thread.

  3. Welcome to the forum.

Be mindful of renewal prices on the software for some of the OBD devices out there. Quite a few, mostly the phone based ones with a Bluetooth OBD2 dongle, need a licence renewal each year to continue to function/connect. The OBDStar is a bigger initial investment and whilst the software can be updated for newer models and updates on recent changes it must be noted that the device will continue to work indefinitely for the models already covered. Furthermore it's not tied to a specific VIN and works with all Ducati models that the software includes.

Here's the capability list for the current OBDStar software for your bike (updated 31st July).
