They do. Sometimes when wearing denim biking jeans the heat from the engine outweighs the benefits of air flow when moving. The heat issue appears to relate to engines running so lean these days. Interestingly i had a demo ride on the new V2 Multi a few weeks ago and it would seem a lot of thought has gone into heat reduction with the new 890 V2.
Mmmmmm , I wear Revit Airwave 3 mesh trousers ,,, could be letting all the heat in when town riding / sat still at lights etc.
I wear a Ducati tour textile suit with the liner out during summer. On the return leg on the M25 surrounded by slow moving traffic in a 5 mile tailback it nearly finished me off! Thought I was melting! The problem is definitely more noticeable with a high outside temperature,I’ve raised the seat to its higher position,it may help hot air escape I don’t know,next year I’m considering touring the Arctic Circle…
