Yes, sorry. A lot of UK tracks are only around 1m30-1m40 and I would normally be 5-7secs off @DRR117 . Brno was a 2+m lap so I would have expected to be 7-9secs off maybe, and it was only 2.5secs. It also seemed "easy". I was pretty pleased. My guess before we went was around 2m20s. These nutters do exist. I am sure a decent club racer could get down below 2m10s. Moto 3 managed sub 2min this year. Definitely Bedford, though I cannot work out which corner it is. That bund in the background runs down the right of the long back straight? My guess is it is the second left after the back straight. There are quite a few nasty bumps round there (even some at apexes - the third left after the back straight) which would even unsettle the cars that use it. I would say it is long overdue a resurfacing.
I think it is, after you have done the chicane from the long back straight. Apparently it did have some work done to it a couple of years back but i think the dry spring and summer haven't helped this year. I've such a love/hate for that track. Had some great days there and some of my worst haha. But as it is fairly local to me and i tend to still go plus it's a good one to warm up at the start of the season.
We often use it as a start up to the season. It isn't overly complicated, there is a bit of space, and the race lunatics don't tend to bother with it. The surface itself is good, it just has some lumpy bits! There shouldn't be too much ground movement with how long most of it has been there, however it definitely seems worse for some reason (possibly just all the cars bouncing over it).
Definitely don't get the race loonies but it does seem to attract some "characters". I think you are right about the cars, i have heard a few people say the same thing.
Any good deals floating around on the new 25 V4 base or S model or is it still a case of demand outstripping supply? I'm tempted to have a look at one. Have seen Ducati doing a 4.9% PCP but would be interested on any info for outright purchases too
Short answer, no, long answer, still no, very few bikes remain unsold, call the dealers starting from nearest to furthest and see who might cut you a deal, but don't expect more than a few hundred quid if anything at all. You may get lucky and find a cancelled order but you won't find any bargains.
