If there is an issue you could try and ask her to calm down as she might be over reacting just like her Mother, let us know how you get on if you can.
Bought some new enduro leg guards as I hurt my knee when crashing in the previous, much less protective pair, last weekend. They’re pretty full on - like something a medieval knight would have worn!
Rode to Devon, found some fantastic quiet, fast roads. The RS is coming into its own now. What a machine.
Been and done a bit more last minute shopping for gifts ready for coming home tomorrow, bike now loaded in the van, just got to pack everything else away now, far too bloody hot for that though
Firstly, do they still make Winstons? Secondly, some of the duty free on the ferry costs more than the identical product in Asda
Firstly, Christ knows! And I'd probably cough to death on them now. And I don't suppose they'd be in the pretty red pack. Secondly, bloody hell! Really?
Really!!! 360g Toblerone, Duty Free price, €9 or 2 for €16 Asda £5.98 There was a large lego technic F1 Ferrari, was around the same price as most UK sellers, some UK sellers were cheaper
Repaired all the minor damage caused by my spontaneous unscheduled dismount last weekend then went and rode some lanes, which, disappointingly, were blighted by gaggles of ramblers, so I came home again and got back just in time to watch my cricket club get beaten for the 5th game in a row. Ho hum. I could/should have played, but I’m playing in a charity match tomorrow in memory of one of our teammates who died just before Xmas and back to back matches are too hard on the body these days.
As i can't be arsed to weigh the removed oil, I've started the 36 hour oil change in my streetfighter
Could you not leave it to drain, via both filter orifice snd sump plug, engine & oil at room temp, overnight, measure what came out and then refill with the same amount of new, room temp, oil? I know the recommendation is to weigh the oil out and in but that’s because it’s assumed the oil being drained is hot, which obviously speeds the drain process, and will have a different density to the room temp new oil put in. But I suspect that recommendation is because minimising time spent on a workbench is important in a busy dealer’s workshop.
The drain pan has about half a kilo of crap in it and I can't be bothered to clean it . Plus I've torn a cartilage in my knee so in no hurry. You are right about the dealers time doing this, the last change was done by the dealer who took about 1.5 hours for the service. I will be interested to see how long the oil takes to go black taking my time, it darkened very quickly last time.
