Forgot he’d never won there, those pesky clockwise circuits, etc… https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/1079168/1/marc-marquez-tipped-end-nine-year-wait-austrian-motogp
Obviously I hope not. I also have a sneaky/hopeful feeling his bro might steal a bit of his thunder. (Christ knows why )
I miss Keith heuwen even if it’s for the sole reason every time Hodgy opened his gob, he spoke over him
Now watching 2020 (the year Joan Mir was the most underwhelming champion ever). Funny how the comms were talking of a “changing of the guard” with Rossi nowhere, and Marquez getting his arse slapped by Taka Nakagami on the satellite Honda.
Chantra to miss the next two rounds but A Espargaro will only replace him in Hungary (ie no replacement this weekend). https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/1...es-injury-woes-continue-replacement-announced
All that guff to explain teams get 20 mins on the grid instead of 15 for sprints. Was hoping they were going to do away with them altogether. https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/1079258/1/new-sprint-rule-introduced-austrian-motogp-round Is it any wonder the crash dot net team get the criticism they do.
Amongst the exorbitant amount of guff he spews it was interesting to hear Hodgy talk about the new Ducati coming next year and confidently predicting it’s going to “take things to a whole new level”.
Bit of a dull day all told though. Was good to see COG make his debut in moto 3. Seems Canets getting Jake’s bike next year too and that was about all else I picked up of interest.
I was thinking that but after a while you could tell he was being cushioned by Suzy and Hodgy and the banter was back. Full respect.
Maybe I’m in the minority. This is my first year paying to watch MotoGP and I really don’t mind the TNT commentary team. I find Sylvain is very knowledgeable, he’s a current rider in endurance and isn’t he also a MotoGP test rider?
He lost his young lad a few weeks ago think that’s what jimmy was referring to. And agree he’s one of the best on comms.
