I know what you mean. A couple of years ago I saved a boy of about 8 from being run over by grabbing his arm as he stepped into the road while looking the wrong way, but for similar reasons I second guessed and hesitated for a fraction of a second. Thankfully, it didn’t make any difference to the outcome.
My sol sent me £10,000, even though Chase haven't finished the Trust Fund setting up. It's not the £25k I asked for, but good for a start. I've now booked two trips to Spain - ferries and accommodation. All that I haven't done is train to Plymouth and Plymouth hotel. No rush for the train as this is not until next year but I will book the hotel in Plymouth in the coming weeks, And Halifax have just phoned to say they declined one of the payment to the Spanish hotel. This Fraud Prevention gig really does hit the spot -NOT!
We've had a heart-to-heart that didn't go well. I was questioned my sanity as to why I used to have so many credit cards. It was this type of ahit that got me always stopping using credit cards and just getting a new one from somebody else. This was exactly the type of shit that made me do it!
And whilst you are waiting for somebody to finish in the toilet and talk to you, on comes a message saying if anyone else calls you claiming to be from the Halifax, it is a scam, so hang up. So the Halifax claiming to be the only Halifax to trust, blocks my payments, but I am supposed to believe that any other "Halifax" is a scammer! If they don't stop my payments, then they are a better scammer than the genuine Halifax scammers!
Out to celebrate my Sons Cambridge offer, he'll leave home again on the 28 September. I may be forced to find something to do whilst he is gone.
The Spanish hotel has got back to me this morning, saying it's all good and the payment has now gone through. Now my only outstanding task is pub lunch and mucho beero! More than six and a half years since I was knocked off my Monster and now I have things to look forward to! Hooray!!!
If might be me but football starting in a very hot Mid-august is just wrong. S'pose it lets the bigotry start off early.
Sausages are on the bigger breakfast at £6.59, but I try to avoid them on dietary advice, unless they are very good ones. I’m not sure ‘spoons have heard of black pudding, and would probably fry it if they had.
