Well fuck me - something actually worked as id actually planned it...bought a Kaoko throttle lock for the RSV4 - bought it from ebay - completely the wrong model (a versys 300x whatever that is) but, it looked to be the closest fit as none of my bars are standard.... Renthal bars, Domino Quick action throttle, Oberon bar end mirror and heated grips - so nothing is standard. The internal part was too big to fit so lopped that off with a dremmel.... Then took the internal part of the Oberon and used that to fit inside the bar....voila... Perfect....to say im chuffed would be an understatement....as i got the throttle lock for half price off of ebay.
Hung out the washing, washed up, had toast for breakfast, trimmed back very lightly the hedge out the front of the house. Just how did my life get so rock'n'roll.
Ignored the advice on here ( cloth down the exhaust) exhaust valve is now in the cat, sheared a head bolt trying to remove the cat, at least the exhaust valve is sorted
Went out for dinner last night, cracking bbq joint, I loved it, but the Mrs has been violently ill all day. Turns out they use garlic on EVERYTHING, and she’s extremely allergic to it. Our little adventure to Yorkshire next week is now in jeopardy.
This weekend I’ve been home alone which meant bike time! I’ve covered just short of 400 miles this weekend on the SL. Yesterday was Lake Vyrnwy, then up to Lake Bala and home via Wrexham, that was about 200 miles. Today was Doms bike cafe in Leominster, the Baffle Haus by Abergivenny (Ponty Pandy or some such place) home via Bromyard, about 180-190 miles. Loved it. The SL does get lots of attention at these bike cafes.
I wanted to do some riding but I was in too much pain from my cricketing exploits yesterday. I didn’t bowl terribly well but batted doggedly on a difficult pitch against good fast bowling, got hit a few times (ribs, hand and right in the box) and made a respectable 38, all but 3 of which came from boundaries, before rather stupidly running myself out. So, rather than throwing myself around the scenery today, I watched a livestreamed church service and then later on went for a drive with the dog because I wanted to get out of the house but was too sore to go for a walk.
You’re right. Well spotted. It was all but 4. Originally, it had been 3 but a bye was later credited as a run.
What does that actually mean Zhed? I don’t follow cricket, the scoring and all that 6 for 2 before tea doesn’t make sense to me!
And in the next lesson I’ll explain the LBW rule, which is only marginally less complex than quantum mechanics.
Cleaned the puppy pen and put down fresh puppy pads, taken said puppy and other dog into the garden to do their business, taken puppy for a walk round the block, fed them both and dealt with approx 30 bots on here. FML
That would be 5 runs off the delivery for the batting side but the No ball would go in the “extras” column rather than as runs for the batsman.
