Bicester In Motion

Discussion in 'Rideouts & Events' started by Charlie Cox, Aug 18, 2025.

  1. There is an event at this place on Monday 25th August (the bank holiday). I’ve not been before but looks like a fairly cool / interesting place.

It hosts some automotive days out and is on a Second World War bomber base.

For the event on Monday they are describing it as a new summer get together at Bicester Motion for Pegasus members: a bank holiday BBQ.

Motorbikes are encouraged, cars are expected. Tickets are exclusive to Pegasus members, who receive a free ticket. Gates open at 11am.

I’m going to ride down there but thought would share the link if anyone else fancies it.

  2. Started reading the website and it totally put me off.

Bicester Motion is for like-minded mobility leaders, manufacturers, innovators and change-makers who have a shared passion to deliver the mobility solutions we need and require a place to anticipate their needs, inspire their people and elevate their performance.

The evocative estate is unlike other soulless business parks because it delivers a vibrant and dedicated centre of excellence, where mobility businesses can thrive, and it will not stop until it has built the world's leading mobility community.

What a load of corporate mumbo-jumbo bollocks!

  3. haha! Fair. I think that’s describing the place during the week, not the events they have there but we’ll see. I’ve not been before.

I’m guessing based on that you won’t be heading down. I’ll let you know if any good.

Sun supposed to be out and should be an array of cars and bikes plus a BBQ and a decent ride down there! Fingers crossed!

  4. As I read it, the event is only open to Pegasus members, who get a free ticket.
Pegasus membership is £69 a year, so not a cheap day out, unless you already have membership.

I'll give it a swerve, but hope you have fun.

  5. That’s correct. Will let you know! It’s £10 for additional tickets so taking my father in law with me and both riding down together.

  6. Bicester in Motion today. Unfortunately there was barely anyone up there! Apparently the ‘Scrambles’ that they do are always sold out and there are ‘thousands’ up there. Today it was an ‘Assembly’ and must have been about 50 people tops. Mainly cars as expected and a few bikes.

The highlight was the WSD900 Darmah which has had a serious amount of love, time and money spent on it over many years by its owner! Very cool chap and a great story to tell.

The best part of the event was the ride up there and back. About an hour from where I am and there is a stretch from Long Crendon up towards the OYB Dealership which has some excellent roads!

Would I go again? Yes on a ‘Scramble’ event where there was more going on. Probably not on a day like today.
