  1. You live and learn!

I’ve got a Spanish ‘Bodagera’. The official name is longer. Bred from Fox Terriers to hunt rats in wine cellars.

Not even sure if they are a breed or similar to Jack Russells.

    She’s a beaut although she’s f a nervous disposition.

  2. Ratonero Bodeguero Andaluz .... Beautiful 'proper' dogs :upyeah: Not recognised in UK by the RKC though (not that it matters) :)

  5. Anyone have any recommendations for a spanner with perennially waxy/mucky ears?
(I do keep them as trimmed as I can and have failed with the raw diet blather)..

  6. I've heard that warmed up olive oil is good for dissolving wax, but good luck getting it down his ear 'ole!

  7. I use these but I was more looking for a solution to eradicate the need to clean daily. I’ve seen some kind of chew when I was last on FB, has anyone tried/know what I’m referring to?

  9. The 'Clean
'Cleanaural' is a liquid. You squirt some into their ear and massage the base of the ear. After that wipe in the ear with a cotton wool ball. If they're dirty you'll be amazed at how much dissolves and can be wiped away.

Iggy hadn’t seen my boy for a while as he’d been busy with work and then was in the Dominican Republic until last week, so he barely left his side after he got here yesterday evening.

  12. He’s Iggy’s favorite human. Literally from the moment he set eyes on him when he came home from uni a couple of weeks after I got him, he’s been pretty much obsessed with him. If he ever hears me mention his name in conversation or even (occasionally) if he hears it on the TV, he starts running around the house barking, looking out of the windows and checking doors etc. I even had to change my driving route into town for a while because he’d go absolutely bananas when we passed the railway station without stopping.

  14. Fox terriers can be real buggers with cats i.e. kill 'em before you can say meow.

So depending on your views of them keep an eye on her or not... :D

  15. The last one she gave it the biggun to in our garden left a scar on her nose. That’ll learn her!

  16. A lady in town used to have a Dandie Dinmont which is now quite a rare breed. Although they have a rather girlie name and appearance they're tough dudes with high prey drive, originally breed as badger & otter dogs. This translates to being equally proficient as dispatching cats. The one mentioned above had a record of two.

  17. I’ve got two bonkers Staffordshire Bull Terriers (they’re as soft as shite btw) but I won’t let them anywhere near a badger set. Because it’s highly likely they’d get half their faces ripped off! Have you seen a badger going for it? Oooft… :astonished:

  18. We get a badger in the garden a lot and I have to say they are quite keen to f**k off when humans show up, but I’ve seen 2 fighting and yes, they do get ‘involved’!
