No it isn’t. But the reason it’s being done in this instance is. Flags should be for official use only and defacing it or abusing it should be a criminal offence. Believe me if I could stay here I would. It’s a much nicer place to be.
It’s not racism mate. I’m all for it myself although I haven’t “raised a flag” myself. It’s pissing lefties , councils and the government off, especially the government because they don’t know how to deal with it. I’m hopeful it will help lead to labour’s downfall I do agree with you, France is a much nicer place
Its a way of showing the masses' dissatisfaction with a large number of things they think are incorrect without falling foul of two tier police and judiciary.
It is over priced but not as overpriced as me buying in stuff every week and chucking half of it out every week because it's gone off.
Masses? A few disgruntled people . But I reiterate, that is not what a national flag is for. It devalues what it actually means and stands for.
I would suggest it is more than a few, I passed through a North Yorkshire town (Kirky Stephen) and was amazed at the number of flags flying on on disparate buildings. It reminded me of small town USA or Australia. This might be better carried in the Speakers Corner.
I agree, I rode down from Scotland last week and as soon as I got to England there were flags everywhere, every town I rode though had them up everywhere , it’s great to see. Every other country flies their flag and it patriotic, we do it and it’s far right racists behind it. Ukrainian and the Palestine flags are all good though to fly here. The far right racists as the BBC will no doubt be calling them are in fact just ordinary people, mothers, fathers grandparents worried about the direction this country is going in.
We’re off to my brothers house near Limoges next week, I can’t wait. Got 9 gym sessions and swims first though, to get a head start.
Drove from the Yorkshire dales back to Surrey. Six hours of utter dross. If we didn’t have family commitments here, we’d be up there in a heartbeat (pun intended!).
Your lot are coming up here in droves. The North Yorkshire property market appears to be bucking the trend. I’m thinking of selling my back to back terrace and buying one of those gaffs in Westminster.
It's interesting to note that flags started to be seen flying as a response to the news of a 12 year girl who was preventing from making a speech during her schools Culture Day, about what it means to her to be British. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cx271162ee3o https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cyvj289y788o
Shopped for a BBQ later this afternoon to celebrate Carole’s birthday. Got Wagu beef burgers, pork with apple sausages, field mushrooms, fresh corn on the cob, peppery watercress salad, crisps, dips and lashings of chilled beer Sorry to disappoint but family only Andy
Been walking the lakes today, it’s such a beautiful place but I couldn’t help notice all the litter everywhere. What is wrong with people? just take your crap home with you!
